Ignore the Superbowl!

indigo_rose99I'm not a football fan, so the high point of the football season for me is the Ignore the Superbowl party every year. This year's highlight was an extended game of set (which I did NOT win overall, and I even tried!) and two of raaga123's alcoholic cakes. Yuuuum...
I did find that the games room ignoring the superbowl was too crowded and hot midway through the party -- a surprising number of people with a lack of interest in common. So I decamped to the downstairs cooler room with people watching the game, and proceeded to continue to ignore it while beading. It worked out. I even learned enough about the game to perhaps hold a conversation about it later.
