indigo_rose99I've been renting cars for years. Many years. A scary number of cars. I've rented cars that I cannot even pronounce. I've rented cars so wonderful that I walked away from the agency wondering, "what the heck were they thinking, giving me a car like this?!"
Today, I requested a compact. They gave me a PT cruiser. *snort/laugh* What were they thinking?! Isn't this some kind of suburban?
I protested to the rental car guy when he pointed it out to me. "No, they clearly asked if I wanted a compact, and I said 'yes!'"
"This is a compact," he assured me.
"You are kidding me!"
He wasn't. I'm now driving, at least for a few days, a PT cruiser. How silly can this get? A compact?! *slightly hysterical giggle*
