Four point five hours. Solid.

No, you are right, there were the five minute intervals in which a sympathetic flight attendent took the small demon for a walk. All Too Brief.

Ok, why did mom get a glass of wine to chug while baby is away? She has had 6 months to get used to this life! It is the REST of us that need the sympathy!

It seems like it is only new mothers traveling alone-with-baby for the first time that I encounter. After the first nightmare trip, do the other ones flat refuse to travel without a second pair of hands? Hmmmm....

It's not likely that the baby cries like that all the time. Probably it couldn't pop its ears and so was in pain the entire trip. As annoying as it was for you I can guarantee it was more miserable for the mom. Seeing your baby suffer is torture.

Nate's been on three air trips already (CA, FL, NV), including one with Toby and not me. No significant crying on any. The key is nursing or bottle through take-off and landing so his ears clear. Then he generally sleeps the rest of the time. :-)
