The good side of no one delivering me food or water today is that I eat another food bar. *sigh* 240 calories, 20 grams protein.... I won't be viewing my students as food. But it is still not very satisfying.

On the bad side, I just finished the bottle of water I packed "in case they forget to feed and water me again." And it is only noon. I can, of course, survive until the end of the day without further water. It is just bad for me. And I will notice tomorrow. Yeah, I can really tell the next day if I'm dehydrated.

T made me pack enough money to buy a bottle of water for myself. But I've only been to 3 rooms in this building -- the entrance, the classroom, and the bathroom. If there are vending machines for water, or some sort of place to buy a bottle of water, I have not seen it. I have sent out a plea to my hostess. We'll see if it results in food and/or water.

It will be amusing on the food... As the lunch hour is almost over. I have no time to eat. *chomping on the last of the food bar before my students reappear*

But the water would still be welcome...

However much my recent email to my local hosts may have looked.

"Um.... Can I have some water?" I can live without the food as I brought some food bars, but after being here since 6:30am I am really thirsty. And it is noon.

And, ok, I'm wearing my skinny work pants. And I've lost weight since I arrived (otherwise, no skinny work pants).

But I'm not starving! Seriously, if T hears you say that, I will be in trouble over the weekend!

The skinny pants part was pretty nice, though.
