It gets worse.
Aug. 19th, 2013 03:21 pmNine weeks of travel may turn into.... Ten weeks. My bosses are not pushing me at all. They are saying I can tell the customer whatever schedule is convenient. But the options are not endless.
Ooooh, I could come back for a week at the end of October... And then leave again only to return hours before we host a party! No, that sucks.
Or I could try to put the customer off to December or January. That would be my favorite choice.
But there is nothing stopping me from.... Ugh, I don't want to even think it... Extend my 2 Sept two weeks into three weeks. And extend my October 2 weeks in the Philippines into 3 weeks. Which would make.... Ten weeks of travel. The last seven weeks of which I WOULD NOT EVEN COME HOME. At all. Three weeks in the Philippines, 1 week in California, three weeks in the Philippines. Oh, yay, I would only have to pack 3 weeks of food bars before I refilled in California!
I was thinking that no matter how this turns out, I may have to take a sanity day off. Or two.
