irony, taxes, and kilts

Valentine's Day is a gift-giving occasion in my marriage.  I was a bit lost as to what to give my husband, when I realized that he wanted another utilikilt.  Immediately.  So, with him talking to me via Skype, I ordered one Saturday a week ago (that would be Jan 26, when I was in Scotland and he was in Texas).  He wanted to get it a bit early so he could wear it to the (IT)Superbowl Party.  It didn't arrive on Friday or Saturday or Sunday.  We joked that it would arrive the day after.  That would be today.

It arrived an hour ago.

Neither of us were surprised.
