I read something somewhere recently indicating that food is an important part of travel. Not that we should eat ourselves silly while traveling, simply that we should not pass up opportunities to eat food that is not available elsewhere.
So dinner was at a crepes restaurant. We each had an apartif -- whiskey for him, something sweet that called itself raspberry cider for me. His entree crepe had hamburger, mushrooms, goat cheese and a creme sauce. Mine had goat cheese, walnuts and the creme sauce. Yum! His dessert crepe was nuttella and whipped cream; mine was pears, chocolate and whipped creme. Dinner came to about 35Euros.
