bothered by overly-social people at the airport?

I've discovered a new way to have people leave you utterly alone in an airport or on an airplane....WITHOUT BEING ARRESTED. Of course, I had to discover it the hard way -- by sitting next to someone practicing it.

The woman sat holding a 20$ bill in her right hand, angled so it was a straight line, pointed like she was pouring something down the bill into the cupped palm of her left hand. At regular intervals, it was like her left hand got full and she would jerk up her arm to empty the contents over her left shoulder. Harmless, but utterly creepy.

I'm deciding what variation on this I want to practice on my seated neighbors. Not sure I want to pull out a 20$. Think a 1$ would have the same impact?

I don't like to fly. It has nothing to do with heights, but being cramped in a sardine can with very weird people who are waaaaaaaaaay too close for my comfort.
