Another bathroom designed by a man
Aug. 16th, 2007 09:48 pmEvidently they are everywhere.
The stall doors open inward and do not fit properly. I have to yank hard to shut the stall door. The stall walls go to ground on each side with the door reaching well above my head and only stopping about 2 inches above the floor. This is nice for privacy, but disconcerting when I realized during my first visit that there is no handle on the door. Think about it. Inward opening, the door sticks, the lock is on the frame and does not connect with the door AND THERE IS NO HANDLE. I have found the only way to exit is to stand on my toes and grab the top of the door to yank it inward. It is not an easy reach, and I have to wonder what shorter women do.
