Anyone know anything about gluing stone?

I bought two stone dragons in China.  One of them arrived without a foot.  I have the foot.

The seller claimed they are made of jade.  I suspect howlite, dyed.   I tried to ask, but communication broke down rather badly.

Is this a superglue situation?  A special kind of superglue?

Robin says slow-dry apoxy is best, but superglue will also work. Y'all should talk.

For ceramic, I know that lightly wetting both surfaces and then applying super glue to one works well. But ceramic is a lot more porous than stone. I'd be a little worried that epoxy would be too thick. Here's a speculative recommendation: first try super glue (since it's thinner than epoxy). If it doesn't hold up, use nail polish remover to remove it, then try the epoxy.

My husband also supports the superglue. (His job is to fix stuff, so I trust his answers.)
