I pulled weeds yesterday.  It was a perfect morning to do it -- the ground was moist, the sun was not frying me, it was even gently misting.  As long as I do it slowly, I can even bend down and stand up generally without increased pain (note to self: Stand up before moving to a different part of the yard.  Moving in a crouch...  OW!).

As I pulled weeds, I thought of my favorite quote from [personal profile] livingdeb, who described gardening perfectly:   "Gardening lately has consisted of me running around screaming, "Die! Die! Die!" and ripping things out of the ground, "I'll kill you, you little...!"  Some people seem to think that gardening is a relaxing hobby.  I don't understand."
