friends good, drugs bad

indigo_rose99So far today, Duane, Rachel, chikuru, and mr_efficient have called to check in on me. Chikuru even came over and brought dinner. I baked chocolate cheesecake while he ate, which was cool. I like having someone to talk to while I bake. And the cheesecake has been on my to-do list for the week.
T is doing fine in Bratislava. He says he brought the wrong shoes, but otherwise is doing well. He sent along some pics that mean he has some amusing stories to tell when he gets back. Chikuru and I agreed that T should have his own LJ to post to, so we could keep track of his adventures. But since T cannot even be stirred to read my LJ... *shrug* Oh, well.
Scary drug bits for the day -- I decreased dosage and spaced them out more, so the nausea is down. However, I started out the day by doing my very best to faint (or not faint, which was my choice) twice. It was something like, "What should I eat with my first pill this morning? How about some.... gottabeonthegroundnow." The world just did that black blotchy thing across my vision. I managed to find carpet before my entire view went dark. Bleh. So, I will not be becoming an addict any time soon.
Oh, and anyone who reads this and is actually near me..... If you visit me in the next few days, there will be my dark chocolate cheesecake... *tempt, tempt*
