painkillers
Mar. 12th, 2007 06:14 pmYay! and Boo hiss!
So it turns out that my hefty painkiller is a pretty big name and has some lovely side effects. They say "eat with food" to prevent nausea. My nausea sniffs at food and comes in waves afterward. I'm now doing the "how much is it worth it to me to decrease the pain" dance. Seeing each meal once was fine, thanks.
And other side effects include "possible allergic reaction: itching." Which way understates the case. I can live with the itching. But when I'm trying to sleep, it is annoying.
On the other hand, when I allowed the painkiller to completely wear off... ouch. Evidently it was hiding a full body ache. I think one of my toes didn't hurt, but that was it. *sigh*
Man, I'm thrilled to not be working this week.
