I traveled earlier this week. My coughing immediately got worse. My dentist (cleaning) this morning suspects that I am making myself sick again by using my used-when-sick toothbrush.

Oh, I'd so rather be painting!

You can't re-catch the same cold--you have antibodies for that. Yes, germs do lurk on toothbrushes--don't use the toothbrush of a sick person, especially if it's still wet, but it's safe to use your own toothbrush. Just replace it when the bristles start to splat.

(I did some quick googling to make sure I was right about the above.)

I've also had a new sore throat recently, the first symptom of my previous colds this season. I'm starting to wonder if I have mild cedar fever.
