The traditional things happened. We drove to another city Wednesday. We stayed the night at friend J's house. Thursday we packed up food and went to a cousin's house. My 2nd cousin. There was too much food and it was nice. Even the crotchety J, who is related to none of these people, seemed to have an ok time.

But what we really did over Thanksgiving? We binge-watched Stranger Things. Both seasons. J has Netflix (we do not), and had also not seen it. We stayed until we finished both seasons. It was a lot of TV. I think we were all a bit punchy afterwards.

And that is how we ended up driving home through the crazy traffic Saturday. Ugh.
