winter at last!

indigo_rose99Wednesday night it was so warm I wore shorts and sandles on my date with T. By Thursday morning, the temperature had dropped more than 30 degrees and I took a different route to work to avoid iced overpasses.
On one hand I was really tired of the too-warm weather. How could we be ending November like this?! It just didn't seem "right" somehow. But the drastic change was a bit more shocking than I had hoped for. It was actually colder this morning than it will be when I arrive in Ireland on Sunday! Brr...
