Week 2: still in Ohio

This is a marathon, not a sprint. My feet, however, are of the opinion that we are DONE. My feet believe we should spend the next two weeks elevated with twice-daily ice baths. Sadly, the best I can do is not pack my beloved Birkenstock Mary Jane work shoes for the next trip. Ugly non-business wear loosely tied Keens are in my future. Hopefully the pain level will drop back to bearable, in spite of the plan for me to be standing and energetically walking 14 hours a day...
