highlights of the week
Nov. 10th, 2006 09:27 amThis has been a week for burning my personal candle at both ends. My fingers are singed.
- Met
ovrclokd at the airport in a happy bit of coincidence (we planned the meeting in advance, but we didn't buy the plane tickets with this much forethought) - Been keeping to my own time zone -- at least on the waking part, if not the going to bed part -- so well that I've' managed to get in some exercise every day. That and coffee are keeping me going for the first half of every day.
ovrclokd has been keeping me social every night. New people. Books, great food, a brief massage... What's not to like? Yes, this is really the non-social me. Blame her. - Not only made it to scharffenberger (perhaps at the cost of my luggage later, when I try to pack it all), but managed to make it in time for the factory tour! Cool tour! And it comes with a tasting section at key moments, to augment the presentation. Yummmm...
- The new GPS toy is working great! Love the way it is getting me to random places without major hassles.
- Oh, yes, and my class has been going fine. Smart engineers are fun.
