Some adventures feel bigger than others.

I hate cold calls. I hate selling things. I hate talking to strangers.

This week I reached out and listed brother G's remaining car on a car site specializing in miatas. That was hard,but I'm relying on their expertise for the price and format. But that was for the estate. So it was my job to do it, and stalling will only keep the estate open longer.

Today I listed (for sale) my first item on ebay. Ever. It was surprisingly hard to work myself up to actually do it. Cleaning it was annoying. Taking pictures was easy, Digging up the description was annoying. Filling out the form on ebay was suprisingly easy since I'd done so much prep. But working up to actually doing it? That part was HARD. I have no idea why. The strangeness of it was overwhelming. Ugh.

Oddly, this entire experience was harder than traveling to China or the Philippines. Weird, huh?

Now I just have to wait. Which evidently I'm pretty good at.

It's not weird at all. We all have things we just don't. want. to. do. For me, it's actually sorting/filing/shredding/purging. I'd rather clean cat boxes than deal with old desk papers.

Yes, there are many things I put off doing that turn out to be very easy and take a very short amount of time. I feel sorry for the people who mostly put off horrible, time-consuming things.

P.S. The more I think about, the more I'm realizing that your choice for selling that car was brilliant. And a bargain.
