We didn't sleep well. Ok,  I slept great for about four hours and then... not. The irregular hours on this trip meant that my body is still dubious of when I should be awake vs asleep. I do better with a regular schedule.
We packed up and went downstairs about 10 minutes early.... To discover everyone else already there and eating.
The breakfast spread on the Hurtigruten was good. This was better. Yum! We shoveled it in as quickly as possible to make our bus to the airport, but... *wistful sigh* I wanted to stay and luxuriate in it all. There were many kinds of smoothies. Waffles, crepes, fried eggs (being cooked - he cooked a well done one for me!), runny looking scrambled eggs (that I avoided, of course), mushrooms,  potatoes,  meat balls, cold cuts in more types than I could identify, yogurt, fruit & nuts to go in the yogurt.... It was a massive spread of delicious things that kept having more things added as we ate!
The yolks on eggs are a different color here. Darker. More orange, not so yellow. I wonder why. A different kind of chicken?
So now to the airport and a series of flights home. I'm kind of expecting things to go wrong on our really short layover (international flight to intentional flight) in Copenhagen. We'll see.

Wow, I can't believe you wrote so much on the trip!

It could be a different kind of chicken. Or it could be what they are fed--I think the eggs from free-range organic chickens make darker yolks than the eggs from tiny-caged chickens. Definitely those yolks are harder to mix in with the whites.
