In a desperate hunt for new books by familiar authors, I stupidly paid Amazon (instead of the more sensible Baen!) for a copy of Bujold's new book. Then promptly devoured it. It was good and fun in all the ways that Bujold excels at. But I think my speed read of the book was more a sign of my own need for familiar escapism.
Though I do look forward to listening to it again with T on our next drive to ABQ.
