A small adventure

indigo_rose99I don't normally take taxis. Too much socializing with a stranger.
But this morning the earliest hotel shuttle to the airport left at 5am. I wanted to be at the airport before 5 am. So when I arrived in the lobby at 4:40am, I asked for a taxi and offered to share with the 2 strangers waiting in the lobby. They said no.
It was chilly outside as I waited. But a strange minivan arrived and claimed to be my taxi. No meter, no taxi sign. He put my bag in the back... and the 2 strangers came rushing out the door, "Wait up!"
*laugh* I'm a trailblazer. It felt strange.
