A surprising visit to the eye doctor
Oct. 23rd, 2006 11:32 amI just came back from a doctor's visit this morning. For the first time in about 10 years, I had a doctor tell me, "Yes, there is something seriously wrong with you. No, it will not kill you or permanently damage your eye sight. It may be painful. Since it is not painful now, do not worry about it. There is nothing we can do now to prevent it from getting worse, and "getting worse" would simply mean that you feel the symptoms." I walked away with... Nothing. No prescriptions. No upcoming doom if I don't follow strange directions.
Wow.
Wow.
