Playing the idiot
Nov. 3rd, 2015 05:06 pmI have a long list of do-s and don't-s for travel. High on the list is "Always have food."
But it is a Large Company in CA. And they asked us for our lunch order in advance. Mine sounded delicious. So I left out the food bar when I packed the professional bag for the day.
*sigh* They broke the news about the original lunch plan going out the window. They ordered "a big salad to share and some sandwiches." My body thought it was 3pm by the time local lunch time arrived. And I didn't know anything about the white bread, so no sandwiches. I considered trying to pick out the meat to add some protein to my salad (trying not to eat the Entire Thing myself), but decided it would draw too much attention.
*expressions of frustration*
I'm an idiot. Always have food bars! I become quite cranky when I'm hungry.
