I have Pre, which usually means security is a fast walk. But not today.

I don't mind the female person touching me in places my massage therapist doesn't. She was polite and told me what to expect. I don't mind the removal and scan of my shoes. Or the bottom of my feet.I don't mind them rescanning my backpack. I don't mind the fondling of my bun.

I do mind the fact that TWO agents took 15 minutes to completely take apart and fondle absolutely every item in my backpack and jacket. My jacket is SeV and the pockets are full. My backpack is the sum total of my luggage and I care about the fact that anything they break, drop, or lose is no skin off their nose but is catastrophic to me.

They never told me why they decided I merited this much extra attention.

Argh.

Still bothered

I have two half-filled blank notebooks with me. One is filled with my notes in G. The other is work. Those TSA agents pulled each out and flipped through each page. Slowly. Reading. *grind teeth* That was VERY confidential information in both books. If I'd known this was a possibility, I'd have packed a blank work one. And I know that if I had objected to their treatment, they would have read MORE closely. I feel violated and helpless to protest.

Evidently I requested that I be left to repack my bag (vs her stuffing my possessions into it in the usual utterly uncaring TSA way) was a bit too frequent.
