In Your Eyes
Dec. 4th, 2014 09:03 pmFrom a conversation about "What is Joss Whedon doing now?" to a google search, I ran across this movie. Which evidently never went to the theatre, but is available online. For $4 to rent, $10 to own. This seemed quite reasonable for an evening alone. So I worked on Christmas presents and filing while I watched it. In Your Eyes It was... a nice romance. Fun. Not a Great Movie in the sense that it is for all audiences and amazing, but really really nice. I liked the characters and I totally see why they fell for each other.
Update later: Stupid movie keeps haunting me. It may not have been Great Cinema, but it haunts like it. I keep thinking about what would happen next. Did either of them bring money? Is their plan practical? The movie felt like it was set in the late 1800s instead of the modern age. Many of their problems in the modern age could have been solved by simply pointing to a bluetooth headset when they got a weird look. Even if bluetooth headset was off, how would someone else know?
