a knock on the door
Jun. 18th, 2014 07:58 pmSomeone scary just knocked on my door. He said he is something like an appraiser and I'm working with your neighbors.
I said no thank you and started to walk away. I didn't open the door because T was on a conference call upstairs.
He said he is REQUIRED to evaluate the home. I said I don't let strangers in. He said he is certified by the FBI. I said I didn't believe him.
He said, "Then I'll just tell them to send the bill." I said I don't believe you.
And I went my city website. Nothing. Well, crap. He was really pushy. I'm calling 911. He can explain it to them.

Date: 2014-06-21 10:10 pm (UTC)Out his office window and without any knowledge of the various interactions, T said he saw the guy walking the neighborhood. Then later saw the patrol car. He never saw if the officer caught up with the guy, which is a little disappointing for my sense of completion.
