May. 5th, 2014 02:05 pmAt our local molecular bar, we learned more about the science of taste. I held my nose as I drank my appletini... It completely changed the flavor.
Adrian and Sergiy were trying to figure out what to do with caramel.... They wanted to create a drink like a caramel apple. T suggested putting the caramel I the foam. It was a pleasure to see the light go on in Adrian's eyes. He needs more sleep. It was an obvious answer, and when we later tasted the result: Yum! Still discussing how to rim the glass. Salt? Cinnamon? Sergiy looked at us like we were crazy and said "We have cinnamon salt."
