I think I have a cold. My allergy drugs may be hiding the obvious symptoms.
So T dragged me out of the house this evening and asked what I wanted for dinner. Soup! And perhaps hot tea. He had me research best soup places in the area.
It was a hut. With only outdoor tables. The temp is up to 63, so sitting outdoors was ok.
I ordered a drink called The Cure that included juice from beets, garlic, lime and cayenne. It was not terrible.
My soup was Green Goddess, which involved broccoli, olive oil, brown rice, celery, spinach, garlic and onion. I admitted to T that it tasted awful and he traded his mediocre chicken soup for my green goo. He managed three bites. I finished it, deeming the health benefits as necessary.
As I choked down my soup, T went back to the counter and returned with the healthiest thing they could give me: a wheatgrass shot. It was.... green.
Ugh.
I think I feel better. I certainly worked at it!
