indigo_rose99Of course I'm facing another tunnel, but it feels really nice to have made it through this one successfully.
Ok, relatively successfully. I MAY have snapped at several of my coworkers DON'T BOTHER ME (not those words, of course) on multiple occasions in the insane rush to try to finish the majority of my deadlines... But they seem really happy to see that projects they will be involved in are where they should be as I head out the door. And I feel a LOT less stressed.
So I get to be social this evening. And spend a lot of my weekend packing and nesting with T... Preparing for me to be away for months and months. Trying to catch up with the many things I will not be able to do or talk about (in 15 minute daily bursts) while traveling.
For example, I'd like to sign up for a zombie run. But the 2014 local zombie run doesn't seem to actually have a working website I can register on. :-( But if anyone has better search engines than I do, please let me know about central Texas zombie runs in 2014! I'm particularly interested in ones that happen after mid-March (when I'll be back).
Packing is going well. I'm packing for NY (short trip), and packing for California and Philippines (really really long trip) sort of simultaneously. In some ways, I'm grateful for the short NY trip to highlight what I need to refill. Last time I was in the Philippines I ran out of some of my liquid consumables. I'd like to know about those in advance.
Plus T has me talking and thinking about a cruise. Specifically, a trip to Hawaii. Well, FROM Hawaii. I want to cruise, he wants to surf again. We are compromising. If you want to join us, drop me an email. We'd love to have company on the cruise!
