A coat for those cold places
Nov. 5th, 2013 08:15 amCoats have always been a challenge when traveling.
It is difficult to logically pack for cold climates when it is 80-105F outside. And the warm coats always seem so inconvenient... I'm hot the second I step in a building, too cold to button it when I step outside. If I pack the coat, it takes up a huge amount of space. If I carry it on the plane, it has few pockets and is bulky and hot.
This trip I went radical. Instead of my usual leather trench, I went geek.

I'm sure it is a little light for Canada even in November, but I LOVE it! The convenience of not having to dig in my backpack for every little thing is tremendous. The sleeves are a bit long. The phone pocket is far too small for my huge phone. Still love it! Everything about the design is thoughtful.
