Two close friends (neither looking at me when they brought it up) recently asked me about corrective lenses. As in, do I wear glasses/contacts/nothing?
Glasses can be seen in person, but contacts/nothing are obviously more difficult to differentiate.
[Poll #1879194][Poll #1879194]
So now I am curious.
Update: My theory is that people who have known us for 20+ years do not see us as we actually are. They see us as we looked for the first few years they knew us. This theory explains the fact that, in spite of having worn glasses all day every day for the past 13 years, three of my really longterm friends (who were not looking at me) seemed utterly unaware of this fact. On the good side, it means I will always look young and cute to them.
