creaking

I hurt last night. My hands and my kneecaps were bright red. T optimistically pointed out that I would hurt a lot more today and tomorrow. I took an ibuprophen before going to bed.

This morning the inside of my knees hurt  as I still lay in bed. When I got up....  *sigh* I feel old. I understand the knees, the shoulders, the back muscles from shoulderblade to butt, the hands, the abs, the stress in my neck... But why do my calves hurt?

I was going to say, "standing on your tiptoes," but I like your answer better.

Your explanation makes more sense than anything else.

It did occur to me that before jumping off the platform, I curled my toes over the edge. Now I was wearing socks (no shoes), but I likely was trying desperately to grip with my toes. Heck I was trying to grab with EVERYTHING.

My neck is still bothering me. Sometime between noon and 5pm every day ever since The Trapeze Incident, it feels like a crick appears. *sigh* Hot baths every night help, but it is beyond annoying. I keep waking at about 3am with a crick-related headache. Painkillers just don't last though the night...
