Independence Day

indigo_rose99It was a drive in theater.... The concession stand had those diamond pattern walls... The restrooms and kids area were clearly labeled. And every imaginable movie snack! There were boxes of candy I had never heard of! Hot dogs, popcorn, two kinds of wedding cake... It made me wish I could eat lots of sugar and hadn't had a huge BBQ dinner.
Independence Day was the the perfect July 4th movie. It was even a Director's Cut, so we got to see scenes I had never seen before.
T & I were amazed at the prep work. Great party, texpenguin! And it was wonderful on a July 4th when we are not going to have any fireworks. Yay, fireless celebration!
