Dinner with Dad

As our lone parental unit-type, we decided to have dinner with T's father once a week. It is a two hour drive round trip, so this is no minor time commitment.

Today as we drove into the small town Dad lives in, I faced the daunting prospect of finding a decent restaurant. Again.

And there is an app on droid for that: Urban Spoon. Found us a new place, open on Sun, with map. Win!

I find it to be the most reliable source of resto info while also one of the most likely to steer me toward interesting/offbeat places. That's a tough combo. I like playing with the "slot machine" version as well as the more traditional app.
