To grace and the luck of timing, I give thanks

Last night as we drove home from the party, I was slowing for the light when I watched three cop cars go across the major intersection in front of us. That was odd... Then the last one stopped in the middle of the intersection. At 1am I had a decent view as I pulled up to the red light and saw what had once been a car. The front end was rather spectacularly missing. I gave up on going straight through the light. Instead, I turned right... to find the other car, 50-100 feet down the road. It was missing a tire. There was plastic everywhere. It had obviously been Tboned. An officer was outside of his cop car visibly trying to take care of the meandering pedestrian.

The accident must have happened just before we drove up.
