A day in which we accomplished Nothing
Nov. 28th, 2010 10:40 amAt least, "Nothing" according to T. Which is weird, because he is usually the one in favor of Nothing.
We got up about 7am and had breakfast with our ex-neighbor before he headed home. Then we bailed on rollerblading and went back to bed for a lovely nap. Ah, lovely nap.... *happy smile*
When we got up, we did some light Christmas shopping.*
Then we went to friends' house, ate dinner, watched the first episode of Bab5, and hot tubbed.
It was a lovely, relaxing day. *wistful sigh*
* I have handed the remainder of the list over to T. I don't buy gifts for children. I don't buy gifts for his guy buddies. There are several members of his family on my "coal only" list. *sigh* Which means that he FINALLY got involved in the Christmas shopping process only now. No, this is perfectly normal for him. He likes to add names from the coal list at the last second, in spite of the fact that I have been verbally reviewing the entire list with him for months. Organization vs chaos. It must be marriage.

I have a running spreadsheet going back over a decade, with my budgets for each year, so I can be sure I am not getting someone the same thing twice, or if I got someone something very practical one year I get something "fun" the next. :-)
