I hate moving. HATE IT!
*deep breaths* I'm trying to pack 1-2 boxes every weekday. More on weekends. T is not really packing much... but he is spending large chunks of weekends installing the top rails for our future closet shelves. Of the two, I'd rather I pack up our mutual stuff. There is no AC in the still-in-progress new house.
This past weekend I gave a double thumbs up to Container Store. Last Febuary we spent lots of money at their shelf sale. At the time we just had a plan for a closet, not a real closet. Which subsequently drastically changed, of course. *sigh* We had told them DO NOT CUT ANYTHING!!! We will cut anything we need to cut. They cut some pieces. I handed them back the nails and plastic and covers and useless bits (~$200 of stuff we don't want) and even 6+ months later they took it. And they traded the cut rods for full length versions. No argument, no fuss. Yay, Container Store! Huge win. Let me recommend the 25% off shelving sale they are (very timely for us) having right now. They gave us instore credit instead of cash, but that is fine, too.
