August... usually a month of temperatures in the 100s. And drought.
We've had some crazy number of days of rain this August. We are currently in a rain so hard it is flash flooding. Cars have put on their hazards so we can see each other. I'd rather be out of the traffic, but T insists that We Must Go Out Now. "But I'm heading toward the light!" is not the most reassuring thing he has said in the last 10 minutes.
This wet August is freaking us out.
