Dr Google says that I acquired plantar fasciitus yesterday morning. It suggested that the long term fix is to rest my feet and ice. Yes, thanks, day 1 (of 5) of teaching with 12-15 hours walking per day, not so helpful. It did offer some stretches that reduce the pain from lifting-bloody-foot-to-step-back-on-broken-glass to sharp-pebbles-OW level.

I skipped the gym this morning (thus had time to consult Dr Google), but plan to take Dr Google's advice tomorrow and try the stationary bike.
