Today was the long-advertised return of Blue Bell ice cream to Texas stores.
My husband bought a half gallon about 45 minutes after our local grocery store opened. It made him very popular at work.
This evening at 5:30pm we stopped in the grocery to pick up my fix. The signs said "Limit 4 per customer" and only a few lonely singlesserve containers were left. There were multiple feet of empty shelves, floor to ceiling...
