Modern technology
Sep. 26th, 2012 09:47 amPredictably, I notice modern technology the most when it fails.
9:15 am, and it is 80F outside. And I should be grateful it is even this cool because... Our AC has totally failed. Of course the repair folk cannot even come out and look at it until after my first conference call starts at 10am... By which time it will be at least 85F inside. Yes, all of the windows are open and ALL of the fans are on.
I hate summer. Don't lecture me about it being "Fall," because that is an arbitrary point in time when other places get cool and the clothing in our stores because even more ridiculously temperature inappropriate. There are two seasons here. And "Fall" is not one of them.

*being grateful thoughts* Yep, it could have happened on a day where the high was expected to be 103F instead of 93F.
I still think my neighbors are noisy rat bastards. If the motorcycle does not start on the TENTH try, perhaps you should use one of the other FIVE vehicles sitting in front of your house.
Ugh. I can tell this is going to be a three shower day. *sigh*
