a domestic air travel update

Once again, no one checked to ensure that I removed all liquids and gels from my carry-on baggage.  I understand that security can detect water bottles, but what about smaller stuff?  Is it even their job?  Not that I can tell...

And on the plane?  I saw a stewardess use liquid lipstick.  On The Plane.  Can you imagine?!  The rules being broken!!!

My real question is... do different rules apply to airline personnel, or did she sneak it on board?
