Signs, signs, everywhere signs
Jul. 30th, 2006 05:01 pmI noticed two signs while walking through the Shanghai airport. I regret that I did not take pictures of either one.
One sign, beside a check-in counter, said that if you do not reconfirm your plane ticket within 72 hours of the plane leaving, they will cancel you off the plane. Seriously. Cancel your reservation. You are off the plane. In spite of paying and everything.
The second sign, just outside of security, said that people are allowed through security with a maximum of two water bottles. And that they reserve the right to open the bottles and make sure that it is actually water (and not alcohol, the sign implied, giving a list of the maximum amount of alcohol legally allowed on board). My favorite part was at the end, where the airport and the airplane personnel promise to keep passengers hydrated. *cynical laugh*
