I gave in.  I'm a wuss.  No really, I know you are having trouble with this.  But when it comes to T, I totally am.  In spite of the many things I would have to leave behind (umbrella. More food bars.  Cable to connect camera to computer.), I brought his stupid stuffed animal.

And what do I find in my email when I arrive?
"Methinks I will need proof that [the stuffed animal] made it to Poland.  You could be clever and have hid him somewhere in the house, and told me you took him.  I don't think this might be the case, but I also wouldn't put it past you with your anti-[stuffed animal, but completely understandable!] attitudes.
I think a photo will do.
"
So we went on a walk today.  You would not BELIEVE some of the looks I got.  The best pictures were taken with my camera, not my PDA.  But the PDA can actually transfer photos to the computer (thus the picture below).

I convinced a guy to hold it while standing in front of one colored statue.  I have no idea what he said, but he acted like it bit him!  *laugh*  One couple got into an entire conversation with me about it...?!  Was he mine, where did we come from...  I got strange looks as I perched him on fences and statues and road obstacles...  I think the stuffed cat seriously made my usual invisibility less effective.

This is T's stuffed cat on the balcony of my hotel.  I have no idea how I rated a balcony, either.

Your usual invisibility

Do you find that you're equally invisible in both Denmark and Poland?

And the cat could've been in a bag (except for the actual photo-taking)!

I am generally less invisible in Denmark and Poland than I am in the US. As each other....? Hmmm. Insufficient sample size.

I put the cat in a grocery bag when he wasn't being photographed. So I only got the looks when he was out and about.

It was pretty fun. *grin*

Oh, you're a good wife! That stuffed animal is a little piece of T's heart traveling with you wherever you go. A little sappy? Yes. Adorable? Definitely! (He's a good husband too!)--texpenguin

Heh, I'm not the only one who does this. There are several stuffed critters that went to Japan with us :)

Wow, T is so untrusting... *snicker* Or perhaps he is merely well aware of just how diabolically clever you can be! I'm glad you took the little guy--you'll think of T whenever you look at him, and it will make you smile.

As far as the invisibility thing goes, you need to openly display him whenever you desire to be noticed (shopping, etc). If you can find a stuffed animal which can counteract my natural mutant power of finding and/or creating the slowest line anywhere, I'll gladly take it!
