Saturday I fly back to Denmark and Poland.
I feel a certain amount of trepidation at the possibility of being stranded. Again. Evidently ash is still impacting European travel. Yeah, I'm worried. I am more OK about being stranded after I have finished teaching than being stranded somewhere in the middle. My weak geography plus some maps lead me to understand that water is a major obstacle between my two destinations. Sadly, there are no direct train routes between the two. Ugh.
As if work and the possibility of plane breakdown isn't enough stress!
In the past week and a half I keep meeting people for whom I am the only person they have met who was personally impacted by the European halt in traffic. *sigh* This really isn't as cool a recommendation as it sounds. At least, it isn't until I am done with this particular process.
Think positive wind thoughts.
