The price of beauty
Jul. 24th, 2006 08:45 amI think that pedicure in May is haunting me.
It was my first one. I felt a bit of regret when they shaved off my heel callouses, but I didn't protest. Obviously I should have.
Now, from a few weeks of mild walking in well- worn shoes, I have a large blister on my heel edge on each foot. Joy. *sigh* And what do I do for a living? A whole lot of standing. Terrific.
Why do pedicurists attack callouses that no one but me will ever see?!
