The bottom of the bucket
Jun. 26th, 2009 12:09 pmToday I found it. The bottom of the photo tub. Not that I'm there, but I can see it!
2046 photos scanned as of this morning, 177MB. At one minute per photo scan, that does not count time I spent extracted photos from their frames and then put back. This does not count the hundreds I had to literally RIP from the over-enthusiastically sticky newer (newer being relative, probably 1980-1985) photo albums. This also does not count the time I have spent carefully transcribing the many utterly useless things written on the back of photos. "My front yard. Isn't it messy?" Date? Who are you? Or "Barbara 2 weeks old" There are at LEAST 2 Barbara girls in the family. No clue on the birth date or year. Who is she related to? How is she related to my grandparents? There are literally HUNDREDS of baby pictures like this. Hundreds.
Ugh.
