work, food and travel
Nov. 14th, 2008 02:18 pmThis new hotel has terrific kitchen area for me to eat on my own time. And the quality of the food is better when I can eat less for dinner and take back leftovers for breakfast.
And yet... The niceness of this is balanced by... ugh. Waking up at 4:15am every morning. To work out and drive the extra distance to work, this is what it takes. I feel tired all day every day. Jet lag? Coming cold? *big sigh*
But my class for the week is done. And after four hours of solid typing, I have fulfilled all of the promises I made to my students. Now I get a weekend to myself in Ireland. I have a rental car, a GPS, and zero demands on my time. What shall I do?
