It rained.   Which brought the temperature down to something that was really pleasant to walk in. 

I have Given Up on changing money.  It is futile. I'll manage on the few I managed to convert from the US cash I happened to have in my pocket (about $100).  So at lunch I went to the canteen (their word for business cafeteria) and thus did not have to endure that amount of sweating, either.  My salad wasn't even too bad. 

As I was telling my class we were done with the lecture part of the day, they should work on their own data, the electricity went off.  No fans, no lights, no projector, no light in the interior room.  Yes!  Second time this week, and for once with timing that did not make my life more difficult!

After work, one of my students and his wife took me out to dinner at a restaurant.  They claimed it is very local, and recommended a local specialty:  Fried cheese.  With blueberries.  *laugh*  It was delicious.  It also tasted (except for the blueberries) just like it does at home. I did not bring up the lack of marinara sauce.

It was really nice.

In Cuba the dessert is cheese with a fruit sauce. Also, very tasty.
